Adventure
Whisperwood Tales
★★★★★ 4.6
Whisperwood Tales is a gentle point-and-click adventure with gorgeous hand-drawn scenes. You arrive in a small forest village where everyone seems to be hiding something, and you unravel the mystery by exploring, talking, and solving environmental puzzles.
The puzzles lean on observation rather than obscure item combinations, which we appreciated — there's an internal logic to everything. The soundtrack deserves a mention too; it does a lot of quiet emotional work. The entire game downloads up front and plays offline.
It's a shorter experience, maybe four or five hours, but it's a lovely, unhurried one. Great for winding down.
